     Franz Schubert was an Austrian composer of the 19th century, he was known for bridging the Classical and Romantic eras, as well as for his harmonies melodies and production of many symphonies.

     He was born on January 31, 1797, in Himmelpfortgrund, Vienna, Austria. His father was Franz Theodor Schubert, who worked as a schoolmaster, and his mother Elisabeth, Franze was considered to be the fourth surviving son. 

      Franz was educated about music from his father and eldest brother, as they are the ones who taught him to play the viola and the organ, and Franz would study the music theory from a parish church organist. so Franz was raised in a community that appreciated music and made sure that Franz would know the foundation of music.

     Some of his famous pieces are:

1. Piano Quintet In A, D667 – ‘Trout’ Quintet

2. Symphony No.8 In B minor, D759 – ‘Unfinished’ Symphony

3.Die Schöne Müllerin, D7954.

4.String Quartet No.14 In D Minor, D810 – ‘Death And The Maiden’

5. Impromptus, Op.90, D899, and Op.142, D935

     He died in November 19, 1828, Vienna.
